Chain and Drives supply a range of needle bearings from our suppliers at ISB, UBC, Koyo and more.
Needle bearings and combined Needle Roller Bearings are single or double row units that can comprise of machined outer rings with ribs or needle roller and cage assemblies and removable inner rings. The bearings are available in open and sealed versions.
It's always important to consider operating temperature of a bearing during its work; if temperature changes bearing conditions do the same.
Combined Needle Roller Bearings
NBS combined needle roller bearings (series NX, NKX and NKXR) are supplied without inner ring insofar as the shaft is used as a raceway. The shaft must be ground and hardened to ensure compatibility with the hardness of the rollers.
- Advantages: The outer ring of the bearing in the NX series is fitted with a groove in which an elastic ring can be mounted, which has the specific task of blocking the bearing in the event it has to support an axial load.
- Special technical features: If the NBS combined needle roller bearing has to support two-way axial loads, it is recommended to mount two counterpoised bearings from the same series.
