Rexroth IndraDrive Mi

IndraDrive Mi is a modular, cabinet-free drive system consisting of motor-integrated and near-motor servo-drives as well as corresponding components for the common supply of power to the drives.

Rexroth IndraDrive Mi

IndraDrive Mi enables machine manufacturers to integrate all electrical drive components directly into the machine. The results are entirely cabinet free, modular machines with a minimized required space.

It allows all electrical drive components to be integrated directly into the machine. Up to 30 IndraDrive Mi drives can be operated in a single drive string up to 200m long

IndraDrive Mi KSM02

IndraDrive Mi (KSM02 – Motor-integrated Servo Drive)

The motor-integrated KSM02 servo-drive consists of a synchronous servo motor with integrated inverter, control electronics and firmware. A hybrid cable connecting the components in a daisy chain provides DC power and communication. The components are cooled by convection through the motor casing surface.

Features

  • 0.4 kW … 1.2 kW power range
  • 2.2 Nm … 10.5 Nm continuous torque
  • 9.4 Nm … 35 Nm maximum torque
  • 540 V … 750 V DC line voltage
  • Protection type IP65
IndraDrive Mi KMS02/03

IndraDrive Mi (KMS02/03 – Near-motor Servo Drive)

The near-motor KMS02/03 servo-drives are decentralized inverters with control electronics and firmware. A hybrid cable connecting the components in a daisy chain provides DC power and communication. The KMS02/03 supports both asynchronous and synchronous motors (rotary and linear). Depending on size, a thermal interface for cold-plate assembly is available in addition to the standard convection cooling method.

Ideal for the integration of different Rexroth servo motors or of 3rd-party motors (with/without encoder)

Features

  • 2.2 kW … 11 kW power range
  • 6 A … 22 A continuous current
  • 18 A … 36 A maximum current
  • 540 V … 750 V DC line voltage
  • Protection type IP65
IndraDrive Mi KCU02

IndraDrive Mi (KCU02 – Control Electronics)

The KCU02 control electronics provide all the necessary connections for connecting the IndraDrive Mi drive string to a common connection point. A KCU is only necessary when the control cabinet already has an available power supply. HMV supply devices and HCS02 converters can both be used as the power supply. If necessary, it is also possible to connect several KCU02 control electronics modules to a single power supply in order to run several IndraDrive Mi drive strings in parallel.

Features

  • 18.8 kW power
  • Continuous current 25 A
  • 71 A maximum current
  • 540 V … 750 V DC line voltage
  • Protection type IP20
IndraDrive Mi KMV03

IndraDrive Mi (KMV03 – Decentralized Supply Module)

The KMV03 supply module generates a DC bus voltage from the supply voltage and delivers it to connected motor-near and motor-integrated servo-drives. In addition to the option of feeding excess energy back into the supply network, it keeps the DC bus voltage at a constant level. It includes an emergency braking transistor and resistor. Types of cooling include a thermal interface for cold-plate assembly, an insulated design, convection cooling and forced air ventilation.

Features

  • 1.5 kW … 7.5 kW power range
  • 380 V … 500 V mains connection voltage
  • Protection type IP65
  • Rectifier and regeneration functions
IndraDrive KNK03

IndraDrive Mi (KNK03 – Decentralized Mains Module)

The KNK03 mains module includes all the necessary mains connection components, such as mains filter, mains choke and network contactor, in one housing. Each type of cooling and power rating is suitable for connecting to the KMV supply modules. Cooling options include a thermal interface for cold-plate assembly, an insulated design, convection cooling and forced air ventilation.

Features

  • 1.5 kW … 7.5 kW power range
  • 380 V … 500 V mains connection voltage
  • Protection type IP65
